Vote India.. Vote for India..

You might think how your vote counts. Despite politicians play vote bank politics, We can change our India by electing a right leader. People always talk about the better governance, corruption, poverty, terrorism, etc. But when it comes to (s)electing a good leader, people don't care. Our Country's future depends on we, the people.
Every individual thinks, how can I alone change the system? But there are millions of people in this country who have the urge for change. I remember a poem which I had read in my high school.

बूंद बूंद मिलने से बन जाता हैं सागर ।
सूत सूत मिलने से बन जाता हैं चादर ।

Let us all unite for our country. Let us not get prejudiced by any caste, religion and regional preferences.
So, here is an oppurtunity (right) to choose a right leader who shall serve you. Let us vote to the leader who you think our country would be taken to greater heights. Lets make make our votes count. Your leader might lose by just one vote.
Let us go forth to lead the land we love, but knowing that here on earth God's work must truly be our own."

For the folks in karnataka, you can check your voter registration status at

The first step.

This morning I received a call from my friend. He happend to see something which moved him and wanted to change the future of our country. He saw an engineering student who filed the nomination for the upcoming parliment elections. My friend too wanted to contend for the election and do something good for the people. This is not wrong. There are lot many people who think about the same. But their actions.. "ZERO".

Our country's future can be changed by the youth. But where are the youth? What are they doing?

I myself see lots of youth, especially software engineers, commenting on the politicians, corruption, city's infrastructure, etc. But do the youth really care for our country? One who doesn't vote doesn't have the right to comment about the future of the country. www.jaagore.com has been such a wonderful website to the register for voting. Infact, they had setup the dropboxes in many of the software companies for the collection of the forms. Yet, many people have not registered. There are another set of people, they have registered in the website but it is too tedious for them to go and drop at the office of your local Electoral Registration Officer.

Come on folks, it's time for us to act. You need not be a police officer to fight the corruption. You need not be a politician to change the country's future. All you have to do is the create awareness in the community. Elect the right leader. If he doesn't do anything to the people, hold his collar, slap him on his face and ask him to "DO". "Doing is the only way for things to be done".

You happen to spend hundreds and thousands of money for your self. Why don't you spend atleast 100 rupees to get a white board and set it up near a provision store write something on it which motivates the people (use local language so that everyone understands).

"THE CHANGE SHOULD START WITHIN YOU". Stop dreaming start living. This is just a first step.
